Big Bad Wolf! Awuuuu baby baby... :-p

Hi guys.. It's been a while since I last posted my entry eh?

Well, the reason for it is non other than my busy schedule..Y'know as a mom, wife, student bla bla bla..

Okay..Enough with the lame excuses, today I'm gonna share with you about my current trip to the awesome BBW.. Well, I know that I'm one of the lambat people who went there, but hell..Better late than never.. 

Kak Long fell down as soon as we were entering the area.. She got minor cuts on her toe and she made it as an excuse to avoid carrying her books around.. I swear that both my arm muscles are aching right now.. Pffttttt... Well we need to bring a freakin' trolley next time..!

Actually it was a blessing in disguise I think.. The crowd were lesser today and we didn't have to queue to pay.. See? See? How lucky were we? Kannnnn..

We spent 4 hours there.. Well it was a though job you see, to browse through these books.. 4 hours??? It was not that long when you were busy enjoying the books..Right... Through it all, I need to carry my sister's books as well..Since she 'injured' herself at the very beginning, remember?.. I literally felt the period pain at my spine while carrying those books.. So what I did was, I lifted the box (loaded with books)  from one table to another until I reached the cashiers' rows.. I waited for my sister to get me at the nearest table (next to the cashier) while I enjoyed some free reading.. Cheapskate as always.. *peace*

Finally she appeared from nowhere and brought more books..  How sneaky.... She's a snake!  She's a cobra! I figured, maybe the best way to deal with her is to make her feels guilty instead of getting angry at her.. So I acted as I was about to fall down while carrying the heavy box..As I turned back I saw her busy snapping photos and updating her FB's status I think.... Snakeeeeeeeeee...

We spent almost RM300+ for the books today..But yeah, since both of us are teachers (well all teachers love books, don't they?) I really think that books are our biggest weakness. To make our hearts a tad easier, we practically counted the normal price for the books and we were actually saving more than RM500 easily.. Wow! We felt like we have spent RM1000 today... Are we turning to shopaholics? Jeng Jeng Jeng

So anyway, we had lunch at the 'mini food court' outside the BBW and while ordering food, she started telling me how painful her left foot is and will she ever recovers from the pain...OMG! Too much drama la this Kak Long!. Haha.. Now I see how all the girls in our family practically shared the same genes..The lembik genes.. Haha.. She even forced me to buy her more foods and drink while she  sat there at the table, smiling and browsing her new books.. T___T

We left our children at home today.. I really don't like the idea of bringing small children to crowded area.. There are 3 toddlers altogether.. They can run and disappear in no time.. Dangerous! But no worries, we left them in safe hands.. Hehe.. Bought their Mak Tok's a recipe book.. Asian Delights or something like that... and Harris got his encyclopedias - the spiders', the big machines' and few more... He likes books so much, so why not?

The best thing is, I bought two Jamie Olivers' cookbooks and oh my... I can't wait to try all of his recipes... Cant wait.. 

*Shifty eyes*

Okay, next time around I'll definitely bring a small chair and trolley... I can't bear the pain of carrying those hardcovers' books! =p

Dubu Dubu and some happy fishes

Family first, yes?

Hehe..

We went to OU again today..But this time kak long and her children came along..

I asked her to go somewhere else, but she insisted to go there.. Why? She wanted to eat at Dubu Dubu.. It's a Korean food restaurant.. Hmmm.. I said okay, as long as we stay away from Toys R Us.. Huhu..

Umar grinned when he heard the news.. He uttered, 'Yeay, Umar nak bagi makan fish..Tapi aunty kena siapkan 50 sen 2 keping untuk beli makanan ikan..'

Yeah.. Like I would even 'want' to feed those fishes..!

Okay, we did bought the fish pellets after all..

We did enjoyed ourselves there- surprisingly..Hahaha..

Harris was so excited, he got panicked attack and threw the whole pellets in the pond..

Nice.....

This act, however, has led those fishes to 'attack' us.. They literally jumped out from the pond and flipped in front of us for couple of times! 

We got wet, of course! 

But to see the joy and laughter from the kids, yeah..we'll get dry soon anyways.. =p

As planned, we ate lunch at Dubu Dubu.. Naah..Not Dubur Dubur! (don't get creative now please..) I ordered rice cakes with few side dishes while kak long opted for bibimbap.. 

This is the rice cake set...Hurm..not bad!

But, I don't really like the kimchi, it was so damn spicy! I think I might fart a fire out of my butt.. Seriously! But, the ginger tea was quite impressive! I love it..Now, I would definitely fart.. Wait. Just wait. =p

One thing I love about November/December is, the shopping malls will transformed to wonderlands! Seriously! I just love the colorful decorations.. Fake snow, fake candies, fake Santa... Hehe.. 

Harris found this water cooler machine near the escalator.. He asked me for some water, so yeah.. His height is just right for him to drink by himself from the water cooler.. He's getting taller.. T_T (overwhelmed) ...

ps: Eating out with children could be challenging for some people.. Well, don't judge family with crying toddler at dining area, don't give the parents a pity look or any other rude gestures.. Someday you'll be a parent too and then you'll know, not all kids will behave every freakin' time, even if their parents had taught them so.. Show some courtesy.. Don't act like a grumpy nenek.. 

Aisha was quite moody today, so she threw some tantrums at the restaurant.. This cute Chinese aunty cheered from afar to make Aisha feels better.. Well, Aisha didn't smile but at least she stopped crying for a while..So sweet la that aunty, wasn't she?

Well me and my boy, we went to One Utama just now.. Why? Naah.. I'm not watching the Twilight saga finale.. Urmm..Not that I'm not interested in Edward Cullen's clan anymore but yknow.. I need to cater my own lil Cullen here.. Hehe..We went to Toys 'R' Us first.. Shah asked me to get some toys for our son.. I suggested the RM5 truck from Daiso (I'm miskin) but Shah said no..He asked me to get him the proper one.. By proper one, does he mean pricier one?

I digested so.. *shifty eyes*


So I bought him a CAT's construction set..Hamekau..Do not ask me about the price..

Finally, I have the guts to get myself this Hello Kitty casing..I've been eying on it for quite sometimes..

Yeah.. 

It wasn't from Sanrio so it was not that expensive.. Trust me.. It costs me RM45 only ma..Manyak mulah.. I saw the similar one at Jusco Kepong but it was for SGS3.. arghhh.. The disappointment! And that one costs RM60! So ini adalah hikmahnya!

Walk and talk and eat

In case you were wondering, I went shopping with kak long and Harris today.. The plan was to get our children's  diapers at Tesco but heck, the route to Mutiara Damansara was congested and we just need to get away from it! So I drove a bit further to OU.. LOL..

Harris behaved quite all right today.. I'm happy since he didn't cause tantrum at the mall.. Phewwww...
Again, the first plan was to try Dubu Dubu's food but we changed our mind and went to Dave's Deli.. We were both easily get distracted like this.. What to do? Hehe.. I had a chicken chop and she ate chicken something something.. Too hungry to bother! But it turned out that Harris ate Kak Long's meal and mine too.. Hehe.. Lucky me and Kak Long were both on diet so he's actually doing us a favor.. =p

I'm so happy to spend time with Kak Long today and listened to her story about her visit to Japan.. Crap! Actually I'm more happy with souvenirs that she has bought for me and Harris.. Hehe.. Knowing that the cost of, well, everything in Japan are quite high, it made me realized that she will not get me  me anything if she doesn't meant it.. right?

Here are things she gave me this morning... (Plus packs of mochi and other weird foods)... 

A pack of sweets, (yup they were all edible), A box of these giant Pocky and an iPhone casing.. Okay, look at the phone casing on the right side of this photo. There is this big mirror attached to it! The first thing I told Kak Long when I received the casing was: 

'Kak Long! Acik suka gileeee.. TQ! I really need something like this! I need to at least know how do I look when I'm posing for the camera you know~! Amazing! Love it!'

And she said, ' Well, Kak Long memang tau kamu akan suka. Vain. '

Me: *shifty eyes*

But now...Look at the size of this Pocky! Kinkily big and adorable eh?

This is a burger set! The bread and toppings look so real.. Harris loves it so much that he asked for a real burger after that!.. Well now that he recognizes the burger's parts, I wish he won't request for extra cheese or lettuce or whatever.. Huhu

Anyways, as the whole nation is going ga ga about Mothercare's sales right now, Kak Long and I opted for Cotton On Kids today.. They were having sales as well.. And lesser traffic at the cashier.. We both were like being possessed as we enter the shop.. As we meet again at the cashier we were both pretended like we are strangers.... Why? Idk.. Maybe we don't want to feel guilty for sharing the bad shopping habit? Hehe..

Na'ah.. I'm kidding.. I bought this lotion and some cookies from M&S.. Well normally I would go for sweet and fruity scents but today I have lost myself.. I became a fan of powdery scents because of this line. I'm going to put this tube on my studying desk. I'm going to apply this on my hands as a 5 minutes  break ritual, well especially when I'm just at my desk for the day. :)

Ehem.. their Halloween's candy adalah sangat sangat adorable... Hmmmmphhh... Tapi tak sambut, haram.. 

Okay, that's all lah for now... I'm super fenatttt and I need a foot massage right now.. Believe it or not, I have walked for merely 4 hours today...

Preparations

Assalamualaikum... How is you preparation for tomorrow's Hari Raya? I cooked 'kuah kacang' and 'nasi Impit' while mak prepared rendang... Kak Long bought us dinner with Reza..Abah went out with Adam just now to buy some lemang at Selayang... Hahaha..

Everyone is busy...

Kak Long and I are not as close as other siblings... But I realized that she always there for me for some reality check.. For example, 

Long, acik nampak gemuk tak pakai seluar ni?

and she will reply, 

Hell yeah~!

She doesn't care how I will react afterwards but I'm not offended either.. Heck, I love her!

Well, we went out for some shopping at One Utama just now.. The main mission was to buy a jacket or coat for her upcoming trip to Japan.. Her flight is on this Saturday night~! Talking about doing things last minute-it's in the gene! LOL...

We went to a lot of shops and she decided to KIV every coat she interested in..

I even gave her silent treatment for few minutes to show that I'm protesting! But she's too busy playing games to notice~! Anyways... I was overwhelmed just now watching Harris sitting on one of the couch at Parkson.. He's a big boy already.. He has been a good boy during the shopping trip.. Sit when I asked him to sit, hold my hand as we were walking at the mall and he even behaved at the restaurant... 

I can vividly see that he'll be my shopping partner... Wait till you get a bit bigger than I can ask you to carry shopping bags for me... as long as you are not busy with you games.. Huhu

See.... Duduk baik baik in fitting room... We were busy chasing Aisha in the other hand! Kak Long was planning to get her a decsent gown for her birthday, but we failed... She refused to play along.. =/

When we went to get Kak Long's boot, Harris found a mirror and he decided to look at his reflection for minutes... I just found it hilarious because he's making funny faces and entertained people around him.. Hehe.. That's my boy! =p

Oh, haha... I need to share this... Harris mocked me before we went out... It has become my routine to take photo of what I'm wearing before I leave home.. Funny thing was, Harris quickly jumped on the sofa and stand in front of me with his iPod.. He's posing in front of the mirror and 'snapping' his photo...

Okayla.. That's all.. Selamat berhari raya dan be careful on the road! I will control my rendang intake and lemang and so on... Warghhhhh.. I'm sleepy....
