Banana choc pancakes for my sweethearts..

Good afternoon peeps!
We woke up late today because, last night Shah decided to take Harris and I to view KL's night lights.. Hipster much?

He he he..

Nevermind, don't answer that.. =p
Shah told me that he wants to eat pancakes for breakfast, and I made it..
Though it's more like our brunch's meal but it's okay..He ate 3 of them and helped me to clean up the dishes.. Perfect right? I'll cook if you'll clean up the mess! Hehe.. Harris is never a fan of chocolate so he had cereal for his brunch..

Now they were both busy with their ipads upstairs.. I'm in the kitchen waiting for my mak to start our fried vermicelli project for tea time.. Abah is not around, but based from mak's mood earlier, I bet he went out for some golf date with his other retired friends.. LOL..

I'm still collecting ideas on how to attract more students to our tuition centre..Planning to change it to language centre instead.. We'll see about that..

The only problem I have right now is how to avoid insects, lizards and other creepers inside the house from harassing my emotions? Grrrrrrrrrrrrr... Abah will help us moving half of the house out this Friday..Have to skip my class on that day, sadly.. =p

Purchased the coffee maker last week..Can't wait to try it once we are in Johor's house.. Hew hew hew.. Awesome!

Anyways, the pancakes were awesome.. Shah said that it tasted like 'kek pisang' but with choc chips inside..

Yummeh ahha?

Here's the recipe..

1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup melted butter/veg oil
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp bicarbonate
Smashed bananas
1/2 cup choc chip
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1/3 tsp salt
1 egg

Mix everything in a bowl, heat lightly an oiled frying pan over medium high heat. Put the batter  on the pan. Brown on both sides and serve them with banana slice.

I knew that I've gained weight when my maids, advised me to skip dinner last night..They said that my cheeks are getting chubbier since the last day I left for Ramadhan at hubby's place..Uhuk uhuk..

Anyways, for those who are interested in 'feeling lighter', please try this at home.. Though I've only started it today, I can feel that this might work! I hope so...

The Ingredients:

Cucumber
Lemons
Limes
Mint leaves
2 tbsp honey
a pinch of salt or 1/4 teaspoon

Drink it twice..Once in the morning and take another glass before you hit the sack..

M&Ms cookies recipe!

Salam..

Pheww what a day..~!
I managed to bake more that 80 cookies for my mom and mil this raya..Too bad I could only contribute one type of cookie this year..The fun side is, I'm still on my quest to find the best recipe and yup, I found this recipe which is for me it does help me in baking one of the successful cookie I've ever made..So, I wanna share this recipe with you lovely people out there.. =)

(plus I'm afraid that I might misplace the recipe and lost it forever..)

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 cup of cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

1 stick of butter, I use Buttercup brand
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup chocolate chips
Shredded coconut
2 packets of M&Ms

Methods

Preheat the oven to 180°C

Whisk the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder together.
Set aside.

Cream the cold butter and sugar together by beating them until they're smooth in a stand mixer.
If you don't have a stand mixer beat vigorously by hand in a large mixing bowl or combine them in a food processor.

Add the egg and vanilla and continue beating until well mixed.

Gradually add the flour mix, beating just until combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips with a spoon.

Using a small spoon scoop out a ball of the dough and drop onto a lightly greased cookie tray.
Flatten slightly.
Drop one piece of M&Ms chocolate (or more f you want to) onto the flattened ball. You may sprinkle the shredded coconut as well..

*Bake for exactly 15 minutes.

Cool them down for two minutes on the cookie sheet then remove and cool further.
