The Price..

I saw a super nice kaftan just now..Perfect..It's RM465! Really? For a kaftan?
But it looks so nice on the mannequin dammit!
Frustrated, I walked towards one of the cafes located on the lower ground..I ordered a cup of hot latte and a tuna sandwich.. Those are supposedly be my dinner..

"Dinner"

I promised myself to work hard and earn more money so that in the future buying those kaftans will not cost a problem for me.. I'm kinda depressed right now, especially with my weight..I want to wear my baju kurung without worrying about my extra baggage.. I want my 65 back..That was my weight back in 2002, where smoking cigarettes and drinking canned drinks are considered lunch.. Hmmm..
It's day 02 for my diet plan..Here are what I ate the whole day today"

Breakfast/brunch: F1 Herbalife 3 scoops with 2 green apples and half carrot
Lunch: 2 wholemeal bread with sambal bilis
Dinner: Tuna sandwich with hot latte
Supper: I-rather-not!

Anyways, a girl inspired me today..I smiled at her as they she running around the cafe.. Later, she went into Cold Storage and stopped running when she saw few varieties of flower on the counter..

'Mommy, look at all these lilies..can we get them for grandma?'
'But dear, your grandma is no longer with us..'
'How can you say that? That's unfair! She is still here with us.. Daddy told me last night that she's now my guardian angel..She has been with me all the time.. Let's get these and put them in a vase..Put them next to my bed so that I can smell her favorite smell too'

*menangis dalam hati*

Glad that the mom took a bouquet of lilies finally..Well I guess that the girl's grandma was really close to her..I wanna be a person that gives good impact to other person's life too.. Have you heard a news about a famous photographer who passed away in a car accident 2 days ago..Al Fatihah.. As always, I will google about any information I could get from the web..I was so overwhelmed when I knew that she was going to get married next month..and she was a good person too, based on what I've seen in her instagram..May Allah bless her soul..Amin.. ;-)

Do you still remember that I'm currently obsessed with Pinterest? I saw a bugs repellent earlier - an organic one.. The price is RM49.. I sprayed some on my skin to see whether I'll get any allergies mark on my skin..and then I smelled it...It smell like lemongrass! I was so determined to just go back home and try to Pinterest the similar DIY projects! and guess what? I found several ideas that may save up my pocket money well for a few new outfits..Yeay! I promised they will be the cheap and unbranded stuffs... Me have no money! =p

I'll update you guys with my very own bugs repellent okay? I've done some calculation and yessss, it will cost me lesser than RM49..What a wise decision Suraya!!! Well done!!

Bunny in the houseeeee

Ahha...
Actually, this was once my dream...To sew something for my children..
Hehehe... Applause for me please... Today..Ehem.. I made a bunny pillow for my dear son..
Actually I want to make a cat pillow but I'm clueless on how to make the ear part..
Tho it's not a perfect pillow apatah lagi jahitan kemas, but I'm satisfied that Harris acknowledged it as a rabbit.. huh, good enough! =)

Yeah..First you draw and then you cut it and finally you sew it.. Hehe.. Easy peasy-NOT! I spent almost 6 hours on it...My neck still aching... Uuuuu...

But hell, it's all worth it when Harris place his head on it and obviously he's in love with it.. Yeah~!!

Ugly pillow, yes? Don't care...Pffftttt...

DIY Scrabble Tiles

Harris is getting excited with letters now.. He always uses my iPhone notepad to build up words.. Well he does impressed me-a lot! Alhamdulillah...

So yeah, before starting with my DIY project today, I've thought of getting him a Scrabble set. But Shah said we will only wasting our money (we're not rich) if he refuses to use the set.. It makes sense.. But I can't stand watching his tiny fingers tapping the small keypad... So I came up with this idea:

A Cheapskate Scrabble Set!

Erm.. Basically I just used a scissor, ruler, pencil and permanent marker for this project... It was the simplest thing to do but heck it works wonders! (Patting my own shoulder)... Harris loves the game and he can't  stop building words from the cut outs~!! I'm one happy mommy! At first I'm planning to paint them with acrylic paint, but he doesn't bother about the colors, I think...
Anyways, it was an easy one, right? The only challenge would be deciding which letters to include in your own DIY! I mean how many As and Bs and Cs are enough for a set of scrabble game? Oh, and I guess there's the challenge of teaching Harris how to put back all letters in the box after he's done with the game.. Well at least they are not as hard and pointy as Lego .. At least I won't injure myself if I accidentally step on them.. Right...? T__T
I'm a teacher and forever will be a teacher.. I don't care if no one appreciates my effort in teaching them but I want to be my son's best teacher..His friend, mentor and coach in his study... To ambitious? Maybe. Be it..

Okay look, I already bought a magnetic ABC letters which were made from plastic and tiny magnets, but but but....The letters are not in sufficient amount to build even a word ( Okay, I'm exaggerating, you can build few words with them)..

Harris got panicked when he fails to spell BALL...

B
A
L
(air mata bergenangan)

There are 2 Ls in BALL right, so yeah that was another reason of this project... pffftttt...

See?
Do you feel what I feel now?
Wont you feel happy when your son approves your hard work? Well, after cutting the thick box and injured yourself while cutting the letters? Huh ? Huh ?
You will once you're a parent... =p
