I need to relax... =i

I am sad.. Our plan didn't work out..
According to the earlier plan, we should be on our way back to Kepong by now.. This is a big deal since I'm so eager to go to Jalan TAR tonight with my best friend Wafi.. Practically, there is nothing on my mind, I'm not planning to buy anything there, it's just that it has become our routine to walk along the crowded area and feel the heat of Lebaran..

Shah broke the news just now, during lunch break..He rushed home with the saddest face on his face. Disappointed.. I knew it even before he utters a word.. I was busy baking cornflakes cookies at that time.. Normally he would hug me from behind and whisper to me how wonderful the cookies' smell even from outside the house.. Hehe.. but today he just sat on the sofa and watch the tv bluntly.. It's like he's looking to the mirror.. I asked him what's wrong and he told me that we are not going to Kepong today..He has more works to do..I'm sure he felt bad since he promised me last Friday that we will going to do iftar together with my family before we head back to Temerloh..

I felt bad for making him feel the guilt.. Bad wife!

Since I took the leave form from the office, I have decided that I'm going to maximize the moment with Shah..You know, cook for him, cheer him up when he reaches home from work and to listen to his stories-the good/bad day he faced for the day.. I love him so much that I personally think that this is the best thing that I could do to him..So that when I'm away he could smile and replay those moments we had during this Ramadhan.. ..

I guess God wants me to spend more time with my husband in this house..I shouldn't feel sad after all..

ps:Ramadhan a.k.a the Singing Pilot...Thanks for your call just now.. =)

16th Ramadhan~!!

I know it's been a little slow going with my posts recently, but it's been pretty busy around here this Ramadhan! Also, son has recently decided to give up his afternoon nap, and there went about two hours of time to work on blog posts and baking and making more cookies.. hew hew..   So we've been having fun going to the pool or park instead (it's a huge benefit of my husband working here in this estate where the management has provided these facilities).. Despite that this is a fasting month and both mommy and his papa are fasting, Harris is always pulling his 'tired act'

Well, Shah called it 'merangkak keluar dari rahim' pose.. hehehe

Anyways, Harris is 4 today..well his actual birth date is 5th September but if we refer tu Islamic Calendar today is also his birth date..16th Ramadhan.. =)

He was being moody and a bit cranky last night..He refused to sleep next to his papa and demanded to sleep on my tummy for the whole night..(do you miss it baby?Listening to mommy's heartbeat?) hehe.. I look at him now I sometimes have to take a second glance because he has changed so much. That chubby baby boy is turning into a young and handsome boy. He is so curious and so smart. I have to pinch myself still that I was so blessed to have such a sweet and healthy child. Yes,he has his moments but what who doesn't? even his papa has his sweet own crankiness sometimes..LOL..

So today--We are going to have fun, eat some KFC, and blow some candles. This will be another great birthday to remember. We are going to poke a few holes in those chickens and yeah we'll insert a few candles inside them drumsticks..

ps: I'm sure there will be a few people here that will judge us, but hell...

Okay, so that's it for now...I hope that all of u who are fasting out there will drink more and stay healthy.. Happy fasting~!

Caramel Pudding in the houseeee

Assalamualikum and Happy Friday..

I have been busy cooking for the past few days.. Found loads of interesting recipes and I'm glad tat we still have 20 more days of Ramadhan.. Well, other than fasting and trying to khatam my Quran reading I would definitely took this chance to cook for my soon to be balloon-shaped-tummy-husband and son.. Hehehe..

Anyways, I've decided to share those recipes in this blog.. Well at least I could skip those hassles in  finding good quality recipes, yeah? It's like killing two birds with one stone.. Well you can get those recipes as well as yours truly.. Hihi..

Okay, the first recipe that I would love to remember is:

Caramel-cheese-pudding

Hehe...Harris the food tester~

1 cup of sugar + 2 tbsp water : mixed them on the pan until the colour changed to soft brown..

1 can of condensed milk
1 small box of Dutch Lady's full cream milk
6 eggs
1/4 custard powder
2 slices of cheddar cheese
1 tsp vanilla

Put all those ingredients in a blender..Blend all.. Use any kind of filter before you pour the mixture into the pan for better result!

Preheat the oven to 160°, using the waterbath technique, you may now leave the mixture inside the oven for approximately 1 hour length..

Okay..I will share more recipes after this.. Insyaallah.. Now, I'm gonna prepare chicken wrap for iftar #10.. =)

Morning~!

Good morning guys.. Have you had you coffee yet? Hehehe..
I just finished my assignment and yeah.. I had two cups of coffee instead.. =p

Went through my handphone and I found this photo.. Hehe.. Both of us wore the same shirt..Well not literally similar.. =p

Gedix... Hehe..

Anyway, it has been 2 days since I left hubby's house in Johor.. Ironically, I do miss that place..
Especially the greenery and of course, all the animals there.. I was so thrilled whenever I see those birds, cows, turtles, owls and butterflies.. Well Harris will get excited when he sees the big machines.. Y'know, the excavator, bulldozer and all those orange colored big construction's machines.. Hehe..

Look at this photo.. Ahhhh... Sejuk bijik mata.. I was so amazed when hubby brought me here.. Well he was intended to show these animals to his son actually.. Huhu..  One thing about living in an estate area is, we could plant anything here and it will grow healthily~! We had chicken coop at the back of our house.. Naah..I'm not the one who'll look after those chickens..The estate blessed us with an Indian helper (Aci) ..Ermm practically she's the housekeeper.... She'll clean, cook and she will take care of all the house chores ... She's our SuperLady! She also planted chillies, eggplants, pandan leaves bla bla bla at the back of our house.. Hehe.. Cant recall all the plants' names..

And the best part of it...Garden of roses in front of our house.. I do know nothing about planting anything, but whenever these roses bloom...I am the happiest woman in the world..

Hmmm I wish she could plant us some lilies instead..
