Dubu Dubu and some happy fishes

Family first, yes?

Hehe..

We went to OU again today..But this time kak long and her children came along..

I asked her to go somewhere else, but she insisted to go there.. Why? She wanted to eat at Dubu Dubu.. It's a Korean food restaurant.. Hmmm.. I said okay, as long as we stay away from Toys R Us.. Huhu..

Umar grinned when he heard the news.. He uttered, 'Yeay, Umar nak bagi makan fish..Tapi aunty kena siapkan 50 sen 2 keping untuk beli makanan ikan..'

Yeah.. Like I would even 'want' to feed those fishes..!

Okay, we did bought the fish pellets after all..

We did enjoyed ourselves there- surprisingly..Hahaha..

Harris was so excited, he got panicked attack and threw the whole pellets in the pond..

This act, however, has led those fishes to 'attack' us.. They literally jumped out from the pond and flipped in front of us for couple of times! 

We got wet, of course! 

But to see the joy and laughter from the kids, yeah..we'll get dry soon anyways.. =p

As planned, we ate lunch at Dubu Dubu.. Naah..Not Dubur Dubur! (don't get creative now please..) I ordered rice cakes with few side dishes while kak long opted for bibimbap.. 

This is the rice cake set...Hurm..not bad!

But, I don't really like the kimchi, it was so damn spicy! I think I might fart a fire out of my butt.. Seriously! But, the ginger tea was quite impressive! I love it..Now, I would definitely fart.. Wait. Just wait. =p

One thing I love about November/December is, the shopping malls will transformed to wonderlands! Seriously! I just love the colorful decorations.. Fake snow, fake candies, fake Santa... Hehe.. 

Harris found this water cooler machine near the escalator.. He asked me for some water, so yeah.. His height is just right for him to drink by himself from the water cooler.. He's getting taller.. T_T (overwhelmed) ...

ps: Eating out with children could be challenging for some people.. Well, don't judge family with crying toddler at dining area, don't give the parents a pity look or any other rude gestures.. Someday you'll be a parent too and then you'll know, not all kids will behave every freakin' time, even if their parents had taught them so.. Show some courtesy.. Don't act like a grumpy nenek.. 

Aisha was quite moody today, so she threw some tantrums at the restaurant.. This cute Chinese aunty cheered from afar to make Aisha feels better.. Well, Aisha didn't smile but at least she stopped crying for a while..So sweet la that aunty, wasn't she?

When I was younger (not that I'm THAT old now!), my big sister made me watch 'IT'.. You know, the freaking clown man movie.. It was a hit back in the 90's.. Okay, I'm old.. *sigh* At first I thought it was a comedy movie that comes with some funny story line.. Get it? Clown = funny man, right? Oh boy, I was so naive, wasn't I? So yeah, the rest is history... Those who are close to me will definitely show some sympathy and they'll try to warn me whenever that 'creature' is around..

The most 'remarkable' memory was back in 2003 (I think)... I was having dinner with my bestie, Ayu at A&W PJ.. It was supper actually.. Me, Ayu and few of our friends were quite sleepy at that time.. So, yeah.. All of sudden, that grizzly A&W mascot showed up out from nowhere.. 'It' touched my shoulder and making that 'Hi, I'm the bear' gesture.. I was so panicked that I fell off the chair..Terkangkang kiak noks! Most horribly -- I swung my arms so hard to that poor bear's tummy (Okay..Okay.. I smacked him!) as I cried... Both of my hands were shaking... Ayu has been my 'guardian angel' ever since.. Saving me from those creatures....Tq love for your empathy.. *bear hug*

Ironically, we were talking about that incident before the hen mascot appeared.. I told Ayu that, I would definitely face some problem if I wanna bring Harris to USS..Y'know, USS would be the 'habitat' for them creatures! and deep in my heart, I told myself that I need to face it.. I need to think positive and just be brave for Harris.. So that's why and how I managed to snap these photos of Harris with the hen..

Look at him..Oh Harris..Why are you so brave? He allowed the 'hen' to touch his face, hugged him for few times and he even kissed that ---- thing! (Okay, please ignore the shaky photos..I was shacking like hell, remember?)

Both Harris and me is currently at Johor, husband's place.. It's rainy here.. Yesterday we went to BP to get our groceries and dinner.. Hehe.. We went to my favourite restaurant, which is an Arab food restaurant..

We had Mandy chicken rice and Lamb Khabsah.. and also Humus after that.. Yummmmssss....

Anyways...

Tomorrow is Deepavali... So hubby will get his public holiday break as well.. The plan is to go to Muar and to show Harris my school and also the beach.. Hehehe... (I want to eat mee bandung and  sate and air bandung and sate and kuih 'dorayaki' lorong....nyam nyam)

Ahhhh... I wish the plan will went well... Amin...

Happy birthday Ayuuuuuu

Happy Birthday Ayu!

I’ve known Ayu for almost 14 years now. Yeah, that long...We met at Science Muar, she was so cool back then, while I had a weird rule as well- to make friend with those who are from KL..Reason why? Not that I was being snobbish, it just that I don't know how to take bus from Muar to KL at that time.. I need a good friend to help me out.. Yup, that's Ayu.. She's the type of friend who will always put EVERYONE before herself.. 

We will normally meet at the school canteen during 'prep'.. She will always arrive first, 'cop' a place for me in front of her.. Oddly, she's from a different class, she was in 5 Azam (I think) and I was in 5 Tekad.. She's from science stream while I'm from science technical stream.. Hahaha.. Ikan di laut asam di darat, katanya.. hehe Coming from different class and rumah sukan, who knew that this skinny girl sitting next to me at the canteen would share my sense of humor, fun and shopping addiction? When I sat down in the bus the following Friday, I knew absolutely no one can beat her place. My Ayu, my best friend! (We used to call her Ayop) I hadn’t a clue that that day my life would change, that it was bringing a person into my life who would not only be my best friend, but would be my lil sister  that I never had, but always wanted.

So Ayu, I just wanna say in front of everyone who read my blog, Happy Birthday, pretty! I love you so much! My life would not be the same without you... Thank you for being there for me, for keeping all my secrets, to stay up for me, to google map and give me direction, to laugh and cry with me, to share everything on your plate with me and for all you effort in making me the happiest friend on earth.. I love you so much that I would slap anyone that hurt you.

Well we went out today to celebrate her 29th birthday at Alexis The Garden.. Me and together with my primary school friend, Teh and Fei had planned for this surprise party for weeks before her birthday.. Alhamdulillah everything went well.. Actually I was quite worried that Harris will get moody since 8-10 pm would be his sleep time already.. But yeah, he enjoyed the pavlova and forgot about being sleepy and all.. So while we were busy posing and eating and gossiping he was busy playing with his iPod.. Hehe.. I was so happy when he salam cium tangan Teh and Fei.. I felt honored to be able to train my son to respect the older people.. Hehe..That's my son!

ps:I will always bring you along son, be prepared to entertain yourself! Hihi.. =p

Walk and talk and eat

In case you were wondering, I went shopping with kak long and Harris today.. The plan was to get our children's  diapers at Tesco but heck, the route to Mutiara Damansara was congested and we just need to get away from it! So I drove a bit further to OU.. LOL..

Harris behaved quite all right today.. I'm happy since he didn't cause tantrum at the mall.. Phewwww...
Again, the first plan was to try Dubu Dubu's food but we changed our mind and went to Dave's Deli.. We were both easily get distracted like this.. What to do? Hehe.. I had a chicken chop and she ate chicken something something.. Too hungry to bother! But it turned out that Harris ate Kak Long's meal and mine too.. Hehe.. Lucky me and Kak Long were both on diet so he's actually doing us a favor.. =p

I'm so happy to spend time with Kak Long today and listened to her story about her visit to Japan.. Crap! Actually I'm more happy with souvenirs that she has bought for me and Harris.. Hehe.. Knowing that the cost of, well, everything in Japan are quite high, it made me realized that she will not get me  me anything if she doesn't meant it.. right?

Here are things she gave me this morning... (Plus packs of mochi and other weird foods)... 

A pack of sweets, (yup they were all edible), A box of these giant Pocky and an iPhone casing.. Okay, look at the phone casing on the right side of this photo. There is this big mirror attached to it! The first thing I told Kak Long when I received the casing was: 

'Kak Long! Acik suka gileeee.. TQ! I really need something like this! I need to at least know how do I look when I'm posing for the camera you know~! Amazing! Love it!'

And she said, ' Well, Kak Long memang tau kamu akan suka. Vain. '

Me: *shifty eyes*

But now...Look at the size of this Pocky! Kinkily big and adorable eh?

This is a burger set! The bread and toppings look so real.. Harris loves it so much that he asked for a real burger after that!.. Well now that he recognizes the burger's parts, I wish he won't request for extra cheese or lettuce or whatever.. Huhu

Anyways, as the whole nation is going ga ga about Mothercare's sales right now, Kak Long and I opted for Cotton On Kids today.. They were having sales as well.. And lesser traffic at the cashier.. We both were like being possessed as we enter the shop.. As we meet again at the cashier we were both pretended like we are strangers.... Why? Idk.. Maybe we don't want to feel guilty for sharing the bad shopping habit? Hehe..

Na'ah.. I'm kidding.. I bought this lotion and some cookies from M&S.. Well normally I would go for sweet and fruity scents but today I have lost myself.. I became a fan of powdery scents because of this line. I'm going to put this tube on my studying desk. I'm going to apply this on my hands as a 5 minutes  break ritual, well especially when I'm just at my desk for the day. :)

Ehem.. their Halloween's candy adalah sangat sangat adorable... Hmmmmphhh... Tapi tak sambut, haram.. 

Okay, that's all lah for now... I'm super fenatttt and I need a foot massage right now.. Believe it or not, I have walked for merely 4 hours today...

Arliza waited for me at Starbucks Kepong with her cheeky smile and small eyes (kidding) as always..I apologized and she said let's have some drink...

Me and Arliza: Caramel latte and Iced Caramel Frappuccino! Both tall size~!

Yeah, same drinks as always.. We've known each other since 1999.. That's 13 years~!!! Whoahhhh... We used to share the same pillow and talk about everything.. Arliza, she has the nicest handwriting- ever~!!! Her writing is similar with Arial font.. I swear!! 

Anyway..

She's going to tie the knot soon... So we've been exchanging ideas on the hantaran and when to get them, bla bla bla ..Things she should avoid and whatnot.. Kata orang ada experience.. Hehe..I'm so pleased that she chooses teal as her engagement theme color... Yeayyy~~!!

Arliza..

She is so thin..Tiny little lady.. I swear I can lift her up with my hands at any time.. I think her weight should be around 43-45 kg.. Oiii I'm so jealous.. Her waist is 24 inches tu... bloody hell.... She told me she took light breakfast but eat a lot during lunch and barely eat anything for dinner... I can do that...

I'm gonna start on my strict diet... I'm not gonna die if I eat in smaller portion... Right?

So tonight, I ate a bowl of fresh milk (from a carton) and cereal...  Hunger is subjective, torturing indeed, but we are wise enough to differentiate its outcome. Therefore for whatever it's worth I'm gonna rock my slimmer body soon...(suara serak)

It's a good start eh?

After the coffee session and gossiping about some bitches we have known, (straight face) me and her, we went to find something for Harris.. Well, we went to Popular book store.. Where else la kan... Bought Harris the numbers chart.. Let's Count From 1 - 100.. Yeah, this one should be a tricky one for him.. Last time he was showing off his skill in counting 1 - 20... Hahaha.. I'm gonna be your hero again tonight son.. And you'll be opening you mouth widely, amused by mommy's skill in counting to 100!

I rushed up to my room as soon as I arrived home..There he was, arranging his trucks on the carpet..

*Screaming* 

'Harris look! Mommy bought you a numbers chart! Let's learn numbers!!'

*Unrolling the chart on the floor as Harris watched me excitedly*

Me: Okay Harris, 1, 2, 3......

AH: Ahhh... *He recited all the numbers until 100*

Me: That's it... I'm no longer needed here. 

Sulked. Refused to hang the chart on the wall.Campak 'selotep' jauh jauh.. Took my bath  towel. Crying in the shower.The end.

I can do it!!

I will reduce the food portion..
Tomorrow's mission is to get a smaller and nicer plate for my lunch and dinner~!!!
Research stated that to reduce our appetite, we should get blue colored dishes...

New project

It was rather a cool and easy day for me...

Today, Harris decided to wake up at 11 am...He said 'Hello mommy' and I knew that today is going to be a good day for me... I was so surprised that I had 15 missed calls on my phone... Luckily it was from my best friend, Amir who has been trying to reach me since 9 am.... 

Pfffttt...

9 am? For a housewife? Are you kidding me?

I read his sms later and he was actually trying to ask me to join him for breakfast... Break whatttt???

I replied, 'Too late for that..Maybe lunch?'

Haha... He didn't reply.. Merajuk la tewwww...

Later mak asked me to join her shopping agenda at JJ belakang rumah.. I was too sleepy I forgot to bring my phone and yeah I was bored there.. 

We waited for mak doing her shopping while me and Harris, we had coffee and warm milk and banana choc muffin to kill the time.. I forgot to bring my phone and I need to take photo to kill the time.. Well this photo was taken with Harris's iPod... I had to wrestle with him before he let me use it okay...

It was taken with an iPod..Hence, the quality was so bad... =(

Actually it was a bad idea to bring Harris inside the JJ's shopping department.. We've tried it before..Complete failure~! He will use his intelligence and try to persuade or 'threat' mak tok dia to buy more toys for him... So, waiting for mak at the coffee shop is making more sense, yes? 

Amir called me again at 3pm and he asked me to have our coffee/gossip/discussion session at Artisan TTDI... And then I said, 

'Well I only have 50 bucks right now, so please...no hanky panky...Or else you've got to pay for the expenses!'

And he said,' Harussssssss'

So the rest is history.. =p

At first we decided to sit outside since we he wants to smoke... So I said whatever dude... 

And then I took out my phone and suggested, 'Hey, you FB profile picture was so old, it 'crawled' into my dream last night and begged to kill it before it commits suicide!'

.... aaaand he took out his sunglasses and start to pose..

Nasib la you are my best friend... And few minutes later, (well I guessed he felt guilty or whatever) he asked me to pose instead.. Hahaha... Yeah, sure! my pleasure. ... =p

Thank God that he likes it and he said that he's ready for the GLAM magazine....

We had coffee and talked and screamed and yelled at each other until we feel bored... So we decided to go back home and take a shower since our bodies smelled like a cigarette butt already..

As we were waving at each other to call it a day he showed me a signal that he was hungry..

And then I showed him my middle finger and said, ' ****, why are you doing this to me?'

He said, 'It's on me'

Well..If you insist... =p

So yeah, we had late lunch at Zanmai Sushi.. Oh, wrong! It was not lunch, it was a feast ... The bill was so high, we laughed as loud as we can until tears coming out from HIS eyes... Ka-chinggg~!

He asked for the receipt and mumbled, 'Bla bla bla bla...Crazy...bla bla..Monster...Kejiii'

He he he...

But our upcoming project sounded so great... I just wish that everything we drafted on the paper just now will become a reality... Planning is a part of the plan... Hope God will granted our wishes... Amin..
