Calcium, come to mommy~!

Okay, despite all his good behavior, especially in learning... Harris is now refuses to drink MILK! Yeah.. He used to drink Frisolac and Friso Gold like a champion. Sadly, he made the decision to quit milking on his 3rd birthday.. It has been 2 months now and he lose weight drastically.. (Good news is he can wear his old shirts and pants again..) Hahaha..Huhu.. 

I've tried NAN, Pediasure and even Dugro but nothing works.. Oh, and I have tried putting the milk in cornflakes, with a tinge of Milo,  to give it a different flavor, adding ice cubes in his milk, getting him a fancy swirly straw and ultimately forceful feeding but nothing works. He even slapped my face twice after I forced him this morning..  

Well..My bad, I know..

So what I did was, I Whatsapp my good friend, who is a doctor..

Me: Yo bro, Harris refused to drink milk ni..How eh?

DR: So what's the issue here?

Me: Hoi, he'll be lacking calcium and whatnot la..That's the issue ( I will always use the 'garang' tone to    

       avoid unnecessary flirts)

DR: Good to know that you know.. Hehe..The most important thing is, he gets his calcium. Milk is not 
       the only answer for calcium, cik kak..

Me: Then how?

DR: Get him to eat yogurt, cheese and give him Scott Emulsion, like your mak used to give you.. I 
        could still remember she made you eat that at school. Haha.. That was so funny. Watching your 
        face when your mak scolded you at the parking area.. Epic!

Me: Ha.Ha. Funny my ass..

Yeah, my mak is always like that.. Back then she even asked me and my siblings to eat royal jelly.. 

'Take this. It will soften for your skin', she claimed.. 

Alhamdulillah.. Don't know wether the royal jelly really works or not, but both me and my sis never face major skin problems. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah.. =)

So, yeah.. I always listen to the doctors.. He advised me to give Harris other sources of calcium, so I bought these... Welcome home buddies..

Calci-Yum and Scott's Emulsion.. I almost bought the orange flavored one but the pharmacist told me that the white one contains more benefits than the orange one.. Well, I was blinded by the DHA label at the box, so I end up bought this one.. It tasted like my Gaviscon but less 'powdery' for the after taste effect... LOL.. Well, I mixed both Calci-Yum and Scott's Emulsion, blended them smoothly and I feed Harris without him making a big fuss over it.. Genius mommy I am..

Well, I hope that Harris will never stop taking these calcium boosters..
